2020 NFL Draft: Free agency, big trades shake up 2-round mock draft
The Cincinnati Bengals could have an interesting little thing going next year, starting with the addition of their top pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
They just added the very disruptive interior presence DJ Reader from the Houston Texans to pair with Geno Atkins on the defensive line. How are opposing teams going to block those two guys working in tandem?
Not only that, but the Bengals are hopefully getting everyone back and healthy on offense, which may be a lot to ask, but if you put this crew together on paper, it doesn’t look half bad:
QB: Joe Burrow
RB: Joe Mixon, Gio Bernard
WR1: AJ Green
WR2: Tyler Boyd
WR3: John Ross
TE: CJ Uzomah/Drew Sample
The Bengals are entering year two of the Zac Taylor era, and it will be fascinating to see what this crew of players could do together. The Bengals still need to upgrade the offensive line (more on that later) but getting back last year’s first-round pick Jonah Williams from injury should help tremendously as well.
