2020 NFL Draft: Free agency, big trades shake up 2-round mock draft
The Jacksonville Jaguars have essentially traded or released, well, everyone on their team over the last year.
Despite all of the departures, the Jaguars have made a couple of savvy moves in free agency, signing inside linebacker Joe Schobert away from the Cleveland Browns, a player who can be a threat on all three downs for them.
They also brought in former first-round pick Darqueze Dennard on a team-friendly three-year deal at the cornerback position, and one of the more underrated pass rushing defensive linemen in the league — Rodney Gunter — to help replace some of the depth they’ve lost up front.
This is truly a team that needs to rebuild and reload from the inside out on both sides of the ball, and Derrick Brown at pick number 12 overall is a tremendous value.
Brown’s explosiveness off the line is second to none in this draft class among interior defensive linemen and he was a dominant player over the past two years for Auburn.
