Improving the San Francisco 49ers with a complete seven-round 2020 NFL mock draft.

The San Francisco 49ers made an early splash as the week began, sending star interior defensive lineman DeForest Buckner to the Indianapolis Colts for their first-round pick in the upcoming 2020 NFL Draft. Giving up an incredibly talented and productive player like Buckner is tough, but the 49ers have cap space issues and at least they were able to snag a top-tier draft pick in exchange for him.

San Francisco still lacks draft capital in the middle rounds of the 2020 NFL Draft, but they now have two first-round selections, including the 13th overall pick where they will be able to snag a top-tier prospect at a position of need. With two first-round picks, the San Francisco 49ers can improve their already loaded, Super Bowl-caliber roster.

In this 2020 NFL mock draft, we are going to dig deep into the 49ers and try to give them legitimate help on both sides of the ball. This is obviously already an extremely talented team, but they do have specific needs that will have to be addressed. The 49ers are not going to be able to make any major splashes in free agency, making the draft the best way for them to improve their roster this offseason.

The San Francisco 49ers have the two first-round selections, but they lack significant draft capital after those picks. As it stands now, the 49ers pick at 13 and 31 but do not go on the clock again until the fifth round. What can John Lynch, Kyle Shanahan and company do to make the most out of their current draft capital? Find out in this complete seven-round 2020 NFL mock draft for the team.
