The Los Angeles Rams lost Cory Littleton to the Las Vegas Raiders in free agency, leaving a significant hole in the middle of their defense. Now, the team is left with names like Micah Kiser, Troy Reeder and Kenny Young at the inside linebacker position and that just isn’t going to cut it.

On top of adding a veteran in free agency, the Rams absolutely need to find somebody in the 2020 NFL Draft to contribute right away. When looking at the crop of potential middle linebackers that could fit what the Rams like from that position, Wyoming standout Logan Wilson comes to mind.

While not one of the top backers in this class, Wilson has a lot of intriguing attributes that could lead to him being a surprise as a late-round selection. His stats with the Cowboys are undeniable, as he totaled over 400 tackles in his career to go along with 10 interceptions, showing some of the best ball skills at the position in this class.

He always has his eyes on the ball-carrier and has proven to be great in pursuit. He is a confident tackler and excels in coverage, which is vital at the position in today’s NFL.

Wilson’s game is too polished to fall too late, so if he’s still on the board after the fourth-round, he would be a steal for the Los Angeles Rams.
