After a few big signings on the first day of free agency, we take a look at what the Cleveland Browns 2020 NFL Draft may look like with this seven-round mock draft.

The Cleveland Browns new front office made quite the splash on the first day of free agency, filling multiple holes in their roster. Now, that’s not to say that there aren’t still holes left to fill, but general manager Andrew Berry and company are off to a very good start.

First, the Cleveland Browns made former Atlanta Falcons tight end, Austin Hooper, the highest-paid player at his position in the league. Head coach Kevin Stefanski must have been ecstatic to learn of the signing, as Hooper will fit perfectly in his two-tight end, play action-based offense.

Next, the Browns went out and gave former Tennessee Titans right tackle Jack Conklin a three-year deal, filling one of the three holes on their offensive line. Conklin is a former All-Pro tackle and will help in the development of quarterback Baker Mayfield, whoever ends up playing right guard and the likely rookie left tackle that the Browns will select at some point in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Finally, Stefanski welcomes back a familiar face from his days as a quarterbacks coach in Minnesota, as the Browns signed veteran Case Keenum to be the backup option to Mayfield. Keenum thrived under Stefanski in a very similar offense to the one Cleveland is expected to run this season.

In his one season with the Vikings, Keenum led the team to the NFC Championship Game and possesses the ability to come in and keep the team afloat if Mayfield is sidelined for any reason.

While the Cleveland Browns likely aren’t done making moves in free agency, after such big signings a lot of attention is already turning to the 2020 NFL Draft as the next opportunity to make big improvements to the current roster. Here we take a look at how all seven rounds may play out with the Browns, knowing that they already acquired some very talented players.
