After securing one of the most NFL-ready offensive tackles with their previous pick, the Dolphins snatch up another pro-ready prospect on the offensive line in Cesar Ruiz, who is one of the youngest players in the draft.

Despite his youth, Ruiz has shown himself to be a very intelligent player making calls at the line of scrimmage for the Wolverines, a leader on the offensive line and a physical specimen.

This is an explosive, strong player who plays with a competitive fire every snap.

Adding both Andrew Thomas and Cesar Ruiz would set up the Dolphins with a very nice core of young linemen, especially when you add in free agent pickup Ereck Flowers.

This would fill a massive area of need for the Dolphins and set them up well for the future. Once you draft a franchise quarterback, as many other teams have found out the hard way, you have to invest in ways to protect him and help him succeed as quickly as possible. The Dolphins are in a rare position to be able to spend assets on the line immediately after selecting their QB of choice.
