Joe Thuney, guard, New England Patriots

The Dolphins will be competing with their division rival New York Jets as well as probably the New England Patriots to sign Joe Thuney, but the price required might be necessary.

Thuney, who starts at left guard for the Patriots, would be a nice centerpiece for the Dolphins’ offensive line rebuild.

He gave up just one sack all of last season and has started every game over the past four years after being selected in the third round of the 2016 NFL Draft.

Perhaps the most impressive stat Thuney has going in his favor heading into this free agency period? He had zero penalties in 2019.

The Dolphins would be adding some much-needed stability up front with this move, but they would also be stealing from a division rival.
