Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. EDGE. Boise State. Curtis Weaver. 49. player. 55

Curtis Weaver is not the most explosive player on the edge, but he is powerful at the point of attack and shows advanced hand usage. Weaver could come in and immediately help fill the void that will likely be left by the loss of Bud Dupree.

57. Pick Analysis. player. Clemson. A.J. Terrell. 50. Scouting Report. CB

The Chicago Bears make the most out of their limited 2020 NFL Draft capital in this mock draft, snagging A.J. Terrell, a talented cornerback prospect out of Clemson. Terrell is a strong athlete at the cornerback position who shines in man-to-man coverage. The Bears have a need at the cornerback position and Terrell brings nice value in this range. A strong pick for Chicago here.

51. player. 123. Jeremy Chinn. S. Southern Illinois. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis

The Dallas Cowboys go back to the secondary here in the second round, selecting Jeremy Chinn, an extremely athletic safety prospect out of Southern Illinois. Chinn shows tremendous instincts at the safety position and has the athletic ability to make plays all over the field. He is a versatile safety prospect who could provide immediate value for the Cowboys at a major position of need.

IOL. player. Lloyd Cushenberry III. 52. 51. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. LSU

The Los Angeles Rams would probably rather find a left tackle with this pick, but there simply is not a worthy one available. That being said, Lloyd Cushenberry III is a very good interior offensive line prospect who has a quality combination of power and quickness at the position. Whether the Rams bring Cushenberry in as a center or a guard, he would undoubtedly have a chance to compete for immediate playing time.

Noah Igbinoghene. player. 54. CB. Auburn. 53. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis

Noah Igbinoghene has not been a cornerback for long, but he looks like a natural at the position. He is extremely physical in coverage and shows impressive overall athleticism in all aspects of coverage. The Eagles lacked impact players in the secondary last season and Igbinoghene is talented enough to come in and make a difference.

Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Utah. 54. player. 16. EDGE. Bradlee Anae

Bradlee Anae is an extremely strong and disciplined edge player who seems like an ideal fit for the Bills’ defense. He is an impressive run defender who holds his ground extremely well but do not sleep on his ability to create pressure on the passer. Anae is not the most explosive edge rusher, but he is a savvy player who shows high-level hand usage for a prospect.

55. Scouting Report. Julian Okwara. Notre Dame. player. 44. Pick Analysis. EDGE

When he is on, Julian Okwara looks like an absolute star in the making on the edge. He is incredibly quick off of the ball, bends around the edge with ease and closes on the quarterback in an instant. However, there are functional strength concerns in Okwara’s game and he does tend to disappear too often. The Falcons take a shot on his upside here and hope that he progresses into an impact player at a major position of need for the team.

Scouting Report. RB. Clyde Edwards-Helaire. 56. player. 59. Pick Analysis. LSU

Clyde Edwards-Helaire is an extremely quick and elusive back who works through traffic extremely well and shows impressive contact balance. He is a difficult player to bring down in one-on-one situations and does a nice job of making the most out of all of his opportunities. Edwards-Helaire is also a tremendous pass-catcher out of the backfield who would undoubtedly be a big help to the Dolphins’ new franchise quarterback.

Ohio State. J.K. Dobbins. RB. player. 10. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. 57

The Houston Texans may not want to invest such a high 2020 NFL Draft pick in the running back position, but the need is certainly there. J.K. Dobbins shows great ball carrier vision and impressive short-area quickness. He does a fantastic job of finding the hole, getting there quickly and shooting through it with great burst. Dobbins is an impact offensive playmaker who could quickly become and important asset in the Houston offense.

Pick Analysis. Trevon Diggs. 60. Scouting Report. CB. Alabama. 58. player

Trevon Diggs is a big and physical press coverage cornerback who attacks the ball in the air extremely well. He is suffocating at the line of scrimmage and does a nice job of mirroring opposing receivers. His on-field awareness is lacking at times, but Diggs undoubtedly has big-time upside as an outside cornerback in the NFL. He would undoubtedly be a welcomed addition in Minnesota where cornerback stands out as a massive need.

36. Louisiana. Robert Hunt. 59. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. IOL. player

Robert Hunt is a big, powerful and athletic offensive line prospect who dominated in college. He should benefit greatly from a full-time move to offensive guard at the next level. The Seahawks love to shoot for high-upside players on the offensive line and Hunt fits the bill.

WR. Colorado. 26. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. player. Laviska Shenault Jr.. 60

This is a pairing of team and prospect that I would absolutely love to see. Laviska Shenault Jr. showed incredible versatility in college and was a tremendous playmaker with the ball in his hands. The Ravens would use this guy in a variety of roles and would be the perfect team to get the most out of his abilities. Shenault is not a perfect prospect, but he undoubtedly has major upside as an offensive playmaker at the next level.

Scouting Report. OT. 61. Pick Analysis. Georgia. Isaiah Wilson. player. 35

If the Titans lose Jack Conklin in free agency, they will need to address their right tackle situation. Isaiah Wilson is a big and powerful offensive lineman who could immediately battle for the starting right tackle job and would fit their offense perfectly.

Pick Analysis. Ohio State. Malik Harrison. LB. 62. player. 49. Scouting Report

Malik Harrison may seem like a bit of a reach here, but I really like his physicality in the middle of the field. Harrison is an enforcer at the linebacker position who also moves pretty well. His coverage skills are underdeveloped, but he does show some promise in that area.

63. Pick Analysis. Damon Arnette. CB. Ohio State. player. 124. Scouting Report

The Chiefs do not have many holes on their roster. That being said, the cornerback position could quickly look ugly after the free agency period, with both Beshaun Breeland and Kendall Fuller hitting the open market. Damon Arnette is a quick and physical cornerback prospect who does a nice job of simply making life difficult on the opposing receiver. He is a smooth player who also shows tremendous ball skills. Arnette would be a nice value pick for KC here.

Scouting Report. IDL. Texas AM. Justin Madubuike. player. 36. Pick Analysis. 64

Justin Madubuike stands out as an explosive one-gap penetrator who could be a significant difference-maker at the next level. He is never going to be a guy who you want to put in two-gap situations, but if you let him pin his ears back and attack the quarterback, he will make an impact.
