Scouting Report. Baylor. 33. player. Pick Analysis. WR. Denzel Mims. 56

Denzel Mims is an explosive deep threat receiver who also has a wide catch radius and impressive contested-catch ability. The Bengals quickly find Joe Burrow a high-upside target in this 2020 NFL Draft scenario.

46. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. IDL. Neville Gallimore. 34. Oklahoma. player

Interior defensive line is a massive position of need for the Colts and Neville Gallimore should probably be a first-round pick. With his impressive combination of size, quickness and power, snagging Gallimore would be ideal for the Colts at the top of the second round.

Wisconsin. Jonathan Taylor. player. 50. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. RB. 35

The first running back finally comes off the board. Jonathan Taylor is a fast and powerful running back who has proven the ability to handle a full load of carries. Kerryon Johnson simply has not been as productive as the Lions have expected him to be, clearing a path for a big move at the running back position like this.

S. Pick Analysis. LSU. Grant Delpit. 36. player. 42. Scouting Report

Grant Delpit is a fantastic athlete who shows a ton of ability in coverage. However, he struggled with tackling in 2019 and it could cause him to fall far in the 2020 NFL Draft. With an obvious need at safety, the 49ers take a shot on his upside here.

Terrell Lewis. 37. player. 36. Scouting Report. EDGE. Alabama. Pick Analysis

Terrell Lewis struggled with injuries throughout his college career, but when he was on the field, he made a consistent impact. With an explosive first step and impressive upfield burst, Lewis creates consistent pressure on the quarterback. If Lewis can stay healthy, he could be a massive steal in this range.

Pick Analysis. IDL. TCU. Ross Blacklock. 38. player. Scouting Report. 87

Ross Blacklock is extremely quick off of the ball and always seems to find his way into the backfield. He is a tremendous one-gap penetrator who has big-time upside as a three-technique defensive tackle at the next level. He is an impact interior rusher who would help fill a major need for the Panthers.

player. 59. Scouting Report. OT. Austin Jackson. Pick Analysis. USC. 39

The Miami Dolphins passed up an addition at offensive tackle earlier, but luckily a worthy prospect at the position falls to them at No. 39. Austin Jackson is an inconsistent player who may not be ready to be an immediate contributor. That being said, his athletic upside at the offensive tackle position is tremendous and his long-term ceiling is sky-high.

Donovan Peoples-Jones. player. 32. Scouting Report. Michigan. WR. 40. Pick Analysis

Donovan Peoples-Jones was not the most productive receiver in college, but I think his quarterback and offensive scheme deserves most of that blame. Peoples-Jones is a big, fast and athletic target who could be an absolute monster in the Cardinals’ wide-open offensive attack. Arizona needs to add more impact weapons and DPJ has the potential to be special.

player. 53. Scouting Report. Minnesota. 41. S. Antoine Winfield Jr.. Pick Analysis

Antoine Winfield Jr. is an extremely physical and aggressive safety prospect who shines as an in-the-box defender and in the deep zone. He has great defensive instincts, fantastic range and strong natural ball skills. This guy is a tremendous defensive playmaker who would fill a massive position of need for the Browns.

S. Cal. 42. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. 52. Ashtyn Davis

A little mini-run on safeties here as Ashtyn Davis lands with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Davis is an extremely fast and athletic defensive playmaker who shines as a deep coverage safety. He is also a hard-nosed player who is not afraid to get physical in the middle of the field. His athletic upside alone makes Davis a worthy selection in this range of the 2020 NFL Draft.

43. 57. IOL. Jonah Jackson. Ohio State. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis

Adding a franchise quarterback would be ideal for the Chicago Bears, but any quarterback selection here would be a reach. Instead, the Bears invest in their offensive line by adding Jonah Jackson to the mix. Jackson is a great pass-blocking offensive guard prospect who could come in and immediately compete for a starting spot for the Bears.

Clemson. Tee Higgins. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. WR. 44. 46

Tee Higgins does struggle to separate at times, but he is a big target who is among the best contested-catch receivers in this class. The Colts invested in their long-term quarterback situation earlier and here, they get Love an exciting wide receiver to work with.

Pick Analysis. 45. player. 48. Scouting Report. OT. Boise State. Ezra Cleveland

Ezra Cleveland is a quick and athletic offensive tackle prospect who moves well in space and shows great upside in pass protection. The Buccaneers traded up for their franchise quarterback earlier in this mock draft and they protect that investment with a strong offensive tackle selection with this pick.

TCU. 46. 45. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. WR. Jalen Reagor. player

Jalen Reagor is an extremely quick and explosive receiver who can make plays in the short, intermediate and deep passing game. The Denver Broncos would love to find an explosive target to pair with Courtland Sutton at wide receiver and Reagor certainly fits the bill. His ability to separate and create after the catch would make Reagor an exciting playmaker in the Broncos’ passing attack.

RB. Georgia. 47. player. 44. Pick Analysis. D'Andre Swift. Scouting Report

The Atlanta Falcons are likely to move on from Devonta Freeman this offseason and they would be wise to find a running back in the 2020 NFL Draft if the right opportunity presents itself. D’Andre Swift is an extremely elusive back who is difficult to bring down in space. He is a tremendous playmaker with the ball in his hands and is a big-time threat as a receiver out of the backfield. Snagging Swift here would be a dream scenario for the Falcons.

Michigan. 48. player. 30. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. EDGE. Josh Uche

The New York Jets address another major need here in the second round, as they add edge rusher Josh Uche to the mix. Uche has an explosive first step and consistently shows great upfield burst as a pass rusher. He is an exciting speed rusher who could grow into a dynamic player for the Jets up front.
