In this 2020 NFL Draft scenario, we see a couple of exciting trades in the top 10. As an added treat, this 2020 NFL mock draft goes three rounds deep.

In a world of uncertainty, we do not know if the 2020 NFL Draft will go on as scheduled. That being said, eventually, NFL teams will likely get together and make their selections. Today, we are going to make more 2020 NFL Draft predictions with another full-league mock draft. However, instead of just giving you one round, let’s ramp it up a bit and go three full rounds with these predictions.

Earlier this week, the NFL finally released the compensatory picks for the 2020 NFL Draft. Teams will now have extra draft capital at the end of rounds three through seven, based on how much they lost/spent in free agency last offseason. This mock draft will finish with teams making compensatory selections at the end of the third round.

Alright, let’s dig into the selections.

Scouting Report. LSU. player. 56. Pick Analysis. QB. Joe Burrow. 1

The Cincinnati Bengals have an obvious need for a new franchise quarterback and Joe Burrow is coming off of one of the best seasons for a quarterback in college football history. Burrow is a great leader who has fantastic on-field upside at the next level. He is an extremely mobile quarterback who should tremendous pocket awareness and impressive accuracy to all fields.

Burrow is a top-notch quarterback prospect who has a bright future at the next level. Will he be the guy who leads the Bengals back to the post-season? Only time will tell, but he undoubtedly has the ability to do so. This one is easy, Joe Burrow will be the first overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.

EDGE. Ohio State. Chase Young. 2. 58. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. player

This pick is not quite as easy as Burrow going to Cincinnati. The Washington Redskins could consider a quarterback here and may think about trade-down scenarios if the price is right. That being said, it is most likely that Washington simply stands put and takes the best player in the 2020 NFL Draft class, Ohio State edge rusher Chase Young.

Young is a fantastic pass rusher on the edge who shows an incredible combination of size, speed, power and overall athleticism. Young does have some work to do as a run defender, but make no mistake about it, he can come in and immediately dominate as a pass rusher at the next level. In this 2020 NFL Draft scenario, the Redskins bring in a potential franchise-changing player who they can build their defense around.
