Third round (three picks)

The Broncos have to address the offensive tackle position at some point on day two, in my estimation, and this is as good of a spot as any.

Although the team has faith in offensive line coach Mike Munchak to turn things around, there’s nothing wrong with having depth at tackle and Isaiah Wilson has the raw skills for Munchak to eventually turn him into a Pro Bowl caliber player.

The Broncos covet a linebacker who can play all three downs, and Troy Dye is certainly that type of profile at the position.

Dye is 6-foot-3, 231 pounds, and a highly productive player over the last four years for the Oregon Ducks especially as a third-down guy in coverage or as a blitzer.

Dye would re-join his former Ducks teammate Justin Hollins in the Broncos’ linebacker crew.

How do you ‘replace’ Chris Harris Jr.? You don’t. At least not right away.

But the Broncos can find a player with a similarly scrappy attitude and someone who takes pride in dominating the slot, which is what I think Amik Robertson will do at the NFL level.

The Broncos can’t necessarily rely on Bryce Callahan staying healthy at this point, and they need to add depth to their defensive backfield as a whole.
