Jerry Jeudy. 8. 32. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. WR. Alabama

The Cardinals have a solid collection of young, talented receivers in Christian Kirk, Andy Isabella and Hakeem Butler, but none of those guys are number one caliber receivers. They are very well positioned to do so in this draft. While the prospect of selecting Kyler Murray‘s Oklahoma teammate CeeDee Lamb is intriguing, but if Jerry Jeudy is available I think he’s too good to pass up.

In a class loaded with receiving talent, Jeudy is the best of them all. Jeudy has excellent route-running and separation skills and has shown the ability to be special after the catch with elite elusiveness.

Jeudy came into last season being ranked as the number one overall prospect by some analysts and seemed like a lock to go at least top five, since then his stock has fallen a bit, but I think he’s just too good to fall out of the top ten.

He was surrounded by an absurd amount of receiving talent at Alabama and still produced well in each of the last two seasons, totaling 145 catches, 2478 yards and 24 touchdowns in 28 games, so there’s no doubt in my mind he can be a high-volume receiver in the NFL.
