CB. Kristian Fulton. 15. 45. Scouting Report. LSU. player. Pick Analysis

Despite trading for A.J. Bouye the Broncos can still use help at cornerback. Kristian Fulton would be able to step in and start right away and has the potential to develop into a number one caliber corner.

After Jeff Okudah, there are a lot of corners who could potentially be the second corner off the board, but I’m giving the slight edge to Fulton. He doesn’t get a lot of media attention but that’s just because he plays in the same secondary as Derek Stingley and Grant Delpit. He didn’t make an All-SEC team by the media or coaches, but he was named first-team All-SEC by Pro Football Focus.

Fulton is at his best when he’s in press, man-to-man coverage where he can use his size (6-foot), speed and change of direction skills to stick with receivers. While he’s only recorded two career interceptions, he does have pretty good ball skills with 19 passes defended in 23 career games.

44. Scouting Report. Edge. Iowa. A.J. Epenesa. 16. player. Pick Analysis

With Vic Beasley and Adrian Clayborn both being free agents, the Falcons have a need at edge rusher opposite of Takkarist McKinley. They could have a few edge prospects to choose from including A.J. Epenesa, Yetur Gross-Matos, and K’Lavon Chaisson, but I’m slotting them with Epenesa for now because of his massive size and production in college.

A.J. Epenesa is a unique prospect in that he doesn’t win with athleticism and finesse as you see in a lot of first round edge prospects these days, but instead power. He utilized his massive frame (6-foot-6, 280 pounds) and power to his advantage well in college totaling 22 sacks over the last two seasons.
