2020 NFL mock draft: Two teams trade up for franchise quarterbacks

Adding pieces around Gardner Minshew should be atop the Jaguars offseason priority list. Their biggest weakness is at offensive tackle where they need an upgrade over Cam Robinson. Jedrick Wills can come right in and start at left tackle or right tackle if they wish to move JaWaan Taylor to the left side.
Many other offensive tackles like Andrew Thomas, Tristan Wirfs, and Mekhi Becton have a case to considered the best in the class, but I’m giving Jedrick Wills a slight edge to be the favorite to be the first tackle off the board because of his combination of athleticism and technique. After Wirfs and Becton impressed at the combine, it wouldn’t surprise me to see any one of them be the first tackle off the board.
Wills had an excellent season as he was named first-team All-SEC and he is receiving much deserved high first-round consideration. He is a pretty complete tackle. He has good size (6-foot-5, 320 pounds), he’s pretty quick, he’s strong and he has good technique in both pass protection and run blocking. In pass protection, he gets set quickly after the snap, uses his size well and is good with his hands. In the run game, he fires off the snap and uses his power to take on defenders.
