NFC North

Chicago Bears: Andy Dalton, Quarterback (Bengals, trade)

The Bears can’t be putting all of their chips in the Mitch Trubisky basket this season, can they?

Andy Dalton would come in to push Trubisky, and probably also take his job.

Although Dalton has not been in the upper tier of quarterbacks in recent years, it’s possible that he could come in and actually help the Bears get back to the postseason.

Minnesota Vikings: Kendall Fuller, Cornerback (Chiefs)

The Vikings don’t really have any cap space to work with this offseason, but there are always ways to free up a bit of space.

With all of Trae Waynes, Anthony Harris, and Mackensie Alexander hitting free agency this offseason, the Vikings may have to look to free agency to fill at least one need in their defensive backfield.

Green Bay Packers: Robby Anderson, Wide Receiver (Jets)

The Packers have one of the league’s best receivers in Davante Adams, but adding an element of speed to the other side of the field would be huge.

Robby Anderson has a checkered past, but he could provide the Packers with a desperately needed vertical threat to take some pressure off of Adams and Aaron Rodgers.

Detroit Lions: Bashaud Breeland, Cornerback (Chiefs)

Although the Lions would probably love to find some players with Patriots ties in free agency — and they very well could — I think one area they need to address is cornerback.

I don’t know that they will be able to win the bidding war for a guy like Byron Jones, but the Lions could pay a reasonable price for Bashaud Breeland and get a guy who has been very productive over the last four years as a starting corner option, with or without Darius Slay in the fold.
