AFC North

Cleveland Browns: Trent Williams, Offensive Tackle (Redskins, trade)

The Browns would have to strike a deal for Williams, but trading for him would probably be worth it considering the trouble this team had protecting Baker Mayfield this past season.

Williams wants a trade out of Washington, so for the second consecutive offseason, the Browns make their biggest move via trade with an NFC East team.

Cincinnati Bengals: Derek Wolfe, Defensive End (Broncos)

The Bengals are still in rebuilding mode, but this team has money to spend and a player like Derek Wolfe — who played his college ball at Cincinnati — would be an excellent veteran to add to the defense.

The key would be convincing Wolfe to come over after four straight seasons of missing the playoffs in Denver, but if the Bengals can stay mostly healthy and draft Joe Burrow, their arrow could point up rather quickly.

AJ Green franchise tag assumed.

Baltimore Ravens: Dante Fowler Jr., Outside Linebacker (Rams)

The Baltimore Ravens have a talented roster, but they have some needs on the defensive side of the ball, particularly in the pass rush department.

Dante Fowler Jr. is coming off of a very strong season with the Los Angeles Rams where he racked up 11.5 sacks, and he’s sort of flying under the radar in a really deep crop of defensive free agents.

Matthew Judon franchise tag assumed.

Pittsburgh Steelers: Tyler Eifert, Tight End (Bengals)

The Steelers don’t have a ton of cap space to work with this offseason, so they’re going to be bargain hunting.

One interesting potential fit is Bengals tight end Tyler Eifert, who could be a big-time weapon if he could stay healthy. The Steelers, especially with Ben Roethlisberger at the quarterback position, have been a very prosperous spot for pass catchers in recent years.
