15. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Wide Receiver. Alabama. Henry Ruggs III. 45

Like Tua to the Dolphins, this pick has been one of the worst kept secrets of the 2020 NFL Draft. Does that lead you to believe that it is a smokescreen? I don’t think John Elway and company are that good. I really think that the Broncos want Henry Ruggs III and will likely get him unless another team trades up above them.

Ruggs is an absolute blazer (evidenced by his 4.27 40-time), but he is much more than a straight line fast guy. He has outstanding hands, rarely dropping a pass. He is a real deep threat, great after the catch and finds a way into the end zone on a very large percentage of his touches. He would be a great complement to Courtland Sutton and goes to the Broncos in this 2020 NFL mock draft.

LSU. K'Lavon Chaisson. player. 44. Pick Analysis. Defensive End. Scouting Report. 16

This may be a bit of a steal for the Atlanta Falcons at the tail end of the first half of the first round in the 2020 NFL Draft. K’Lavon Chaisson is one of the more physically gifted prospects in this draft class. He is a versatile edge presence that head coach Dan Quinn would be delighted to see walk through the doors in Atlanta.

Chaisson has great bend and athleticism with the ability to beat most tackles off the edge. He has a great array of moves and counter moves and doesn’t stop until he gets to the quarterback. But what makes Chaisson so special and different than other edge rushers is his ability to drop back in coverage.

Whether it is zone or man, Chaisson can hold his own like a corner. While he may be best fit in a 3-4 scheme where his versatility would be utilized more often, Quinn should be able to find a way to optimize Chaisson’s ability at a real position of need that the Falcons have been trying to find for years now.
