46. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Utah State. Jordan Love. Quarterback. 13. player

The more I think about it the more I love Jordan Love to the Colts. Draft Love here, bring in a veteran like Philip Rivers or Tom Brady and let him develop. Love is incredibly talented.

Like Herbert, Love has the ability to make every throw imaginable. He is great when out of the pocket and off sequence, using different arm angles to deliver an accurate ball. He is mobile with incredible arm strength.

He is certainly far from perfect and a long way from it, but I think the Patrick Mahomes comparisons aren’t crazy. He’s that dynamic. It is definitely concerning to see the “regression”, at least in the box score, from last year to this year. But there are a lot of factors that went into that. You hate to see that level of turnovers in the last collegiate season for a prospect, but his ability is off the charts.

Frank Reich and the Colts could develop their own quarterback behind a solid veteran and have the best of both worlds. Staying competitive now while building for the future. Love could turn into something huge and is QB3 for me behind only Burrow and Herbert.

Pick Analysis. Defensive Lineman. South Carolina. Javon Kinlaw. Scouting Report. 14. player. 48

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have quite a few holes to fill this offseason and what they need to address in the draft will largely depend on what they do in free agency. Mostly with their own players.

The Bucs defense, particularly against the run, improved greatly last year under defensive coordinator Todd Bowles. A guy like Javon Kinlaw would continue that growth. Kinlaw is a force against the run, as well as a solid interior pass rusher. He would fill the shoes of Ndamukong Suh if he were to leave in free agency and would complement Vita Vea, Shaq Barrett and/or Jason Pierre-Paul to form a very stout defensive front in Tampa.
