In a dominating class of wide receivers, Hamler who I thought would fall to the late second round or early third round, is nabbed by the Bengals at 33rd overall. The Bengals need to think about life after A.J. Green and need someone who has the potential to be a number one receiver at the next level.

The Bengals currently have Tyler Boyd and John Ross III under contract along with Auden Tate. Hamler can sit behind them this season and slowly progress with more of a workload as the season moves forward.

Hamler is a speedster and has deep-threat ability and reminds me of current NFL wide receiver DeSean Jackson. I believe Hamler will be a stud at the next level and one interesting stat about him is he has the record of the highest all-purpose yards by any freshman at Penn State.
