Don’t let the 4.64 he ran at the 2020 Scouting Combine fool you — Cameron Dantzler is an explosive, athletic cornerback with length, strength, and tremendous ball skills.

After adding Chris Harris Jr. in free agency, it would be imperative for the Chiefs to find a player like Dantzler in the draft, someone who can be counted on to contribute to their defense immediately.

Dantzler had 17 pass breakups and four interceptions over his past two seasons at Mississippi State along with 83 total tackles.

This is a guy who made plays all over the field in college and he showed competitive fire from the snap to the finish of every rep.

Dantzler’s physical style of play might have him attracting some flags as a rookie, but he will make a lot more of a positive impact than negative.
