One big free agent pickup: Chris Harris Jr., CB, Broncos

The Chiefs are currently poised to lose their top three contributors at cornerback from this past season.

With a tremendous safety duo of Tyrann Mathieu and Juan Thornhill, Kansas City has to supplement the talent they have paid money for up front by adding playmakers on the back end.

Chris Harris Jr. is a ‘win now’ move for the Chiefs, bringing in one of the best nickel defensive backs in the entire league and a player who has been publicly expressing his desire to potentially play for the Chiefs and maybe even get back at Denver for letting him go…

Harris is a Texas native but he played his college ball for the Kansas Jayhawks, just a quick 50 minute drive away from Arrowhead.

With the Chiefs’ obvious need at cornerback and Tyrann Mathieu already publicly recruiting Harris combined with Harris’ expressed desire to possibly stick it to the Broncos for letting him go, it seems like this could be one of the more obvious moves of the 2020 offseason.
