Jacksonville Jaguars 7-round 2020 mock draft: A.J. Bouye trade shakeup
It’s time to double-dip at the corner position. After drafting C.J. Henderson, the Jacksonville Jaguars select Dane Jackson in the fifth round. Jackson has the athleticism and footwork to play in man coverage, and the versatility to play in the slot or on the perimeter. He may take more time to develop, but Jackson is worth the selection here.
Finding some more help on the interior offensive line would be smart for the Jaguars with these late-round selections. Darryl Williams got a lot of hype back in the fall, and his stock has fallen a bit since then. Williams can be a potential starter at center and has versatility to plug in at guard as well.
If Yannick Ngakoue is moved elsewhere, EDGE becomes a bigger need. At this point, day three is a fine place to find a rotational rusher. D.J. Wonnum has strong hands and can trim the edge well to soften his angle to the quarterback. He lacks some refinement but should earn snaps in his rookie season.
Running back Leonard Fournette had a bounce-back 2019 season, but the Jacksonville Jaguars could use a solid backup at the position. JaMycal Hasty was extremely effective in college because of his good vision and excellent lateral quickness, and could be a fantastic change of pace back in Jacksonville.
