Pick Analysis. Justin Madubuike. 2. Scouting Report. Defensive Tackle. Texas AM. player. 52

Next up on the list of needs for the Jacksonville Jaguars is along the defensive line. There’s a chance that Marcell Dareus could be on the way out, and finding help to stop the run, which Jacksonville was near the bottom of the league in, and get pressure on the quarterback.

Justin Madubuike could be an answer at the position. Madubuike isn’t a potent run defender, and likely doesn’t possess the length to be a two-gapper, but he has great pass-rushing ability and can collapse the pocket from the interior. Having him and Josh Allen to rush the passer would be a great start to revitalizing the defensive line.

52. Scouting Report. Southern Illinois. 3. Pick Analysis. Safety. Jeremy Chinn. player

The secondary isn’t fixed quite yet, and finding more help on the back end is important. Ronnie Harrison is a solid safety, but he operates better near the line of scrimmage. Finding someone who can work well on the back end of the defense to complement Harrison would be good.

Look no further than Jeremy Chinn, a small-school safety who continues to rise throughout the draft process. He dominated at the combine this past week, and can be a rangy safety on the back end of the defense with great ball skills. Chinn has the size to be versatile and play near the box as well.
