Tom Brady to the Titans? Predicting big QB free agent, trade moves
Philip Rivers to the Indianapolis Colts
Philip Rivers has relocated his family from California to Florida and because of that, it was widely assumed he would wind up signing with a team like the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
But lately, the rumor mill seems to have Rivers more and more likely landing with the Indianapolis Colts where he would be their starter for the next couple of seasons.
Rivers is 38 years old, and the Colts honestly don’t seem to have a better roster in place than the Chargers at this point in time, but Rivers has history with Colts offensive coordinator Nick Sirianni, who was Rivers’ position coach from 2014-15.
That connection could be the key with Rivers possibly signing on to play for the Colts, who would need to follow up signing Rivers by adding some playmakers in free agency and the 2020 NFL Draft.
With Tom Brady joining the Titans and Rivers joining the Colts, the AFC South would be primed for a couple of seasons of really fascinating TV matchups, but is Rivers landing with the Colts enough to put this team into contention again?
