Tom Brady to the Titans? Philip Rivers to the Colts? The NFL is about to have its own March Madness unlike any other offseason. We predict the QB fits.
The 2020 NFL offseason will be dictated by Tom Brady, the highest profile free agent in the NFL since Peyton Manning in 2012 and certainly the most decorated NFL free agent of our time.
Brady, who is going to be 43 years old this season, has publicly stated that he wants to play until he’s 45, so he’s going to be chasing a championship with some team this coming offseason, and that team may or may not be the New England Patriots.
Along with Brady on the 2020 free agent quarterback market are names like Philip Rivers, Teddy Bridgewater, Ryan Tannehill, Jameis Winston, and currently, Dak Prescott.
Along with those big names are possible trade candidates like Andy Dalton of the Bengals, Nick Foles of the Jaguars, and Cam Newton of the Panthers.
Depending on what dominoes fall, Jacoby Brissett could be available this offseason as well.
In addition to the free agent crop being outstanding, the 2020 NFL Draft features LSU’s Joe Burrow, Alabama’s Tua Tagovailoa, Oregon’s Justin Herbert, Utah State’s Jordan Love, and Washington’s Jacob Eason as possible first-round players.
If your team needs a quarterback, this is not a bad offseason to be in need.
Let’s play the game of musical chairs and try to predict what all of these teams are going to do and have some fun with it.
