Justin Herbert. 4. 13. Oregon. Pick Analysis. QB. player. Scouting Report

With Burrow and Tagovailoa off of the board, Justin Herbert suddenly becomes an extremely valuable asset and teams who do not need a quarterback could potentially fetch a haul from a quarterback-needy team. With the Miami Dolphins on the clock at number five overall, the New York Giants could be in an extremely advantageous situation if they are willing to trade down at number four.

Giants general manager David Gettleman never trades down, but this stands out as such an obvious trade-scenario that it cannot be ignored. Here, the Los Angeles Chargers are the team to come up, exchanging the sixth overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, their second-round 2020 NFL Draft selection and a third-round pick next year to get in position to take Herbert.

Herbert is a big, strong and athletic quarterback prospect who undoubtedly has big-time upside at the next level. He has an extremely strong arm and shows good accuracy to all levels of the field. He undoubtedly has a chance to become a premier franchise quarterback for the Chargers going forward.

Herbert does need to improve his field vision and decision-making, but his raw ability and upside make him an incredibly intriguing 2020 NFL Draft prospect who could take the Chargers to the next level.
