2020 NFL Draft: Post-combine two-round 2020 NFL mock draft with trades
Julian Okwara is a quick and bendy edge rusher who should be able to make an impact for the Bills, even if it is just in a sub-package role on obvious passing downs.
The Atlanta Falcons waited a while to find their edge rusher, but Josh Uche is an exciting and athletic player on the edge who has tremendous natural upside at the next level.
No quarterback for the Miami Dolphins in this mock draft. The beginning of the draft just did not allow it and there simply was not enough value for them to make a move at the position after that. Here, they add Donovan Peoples-Jones, an athletic and explosive wide receiver for whoever ends up taking over the quarterback position in Miami.
Cameron Dantzler is a long and aggressive cornerback prospect who brings the physicality on the outside. The Houston Texans need some more talent at the cornerback position and Dantzler is the best player on the board at the position.
The Vikings worked on their secondary earlier and now they take care of a need on the interior defensive line. Marlon Davidson primarily played on the edge in college, but he undoubtedly profiles best as an interior player at the next level.
Brandon Aiyuk is a big, fast and athletic wide receiver prospect who can create space in his routes and create yardage after the catch. He could quickly become a valuable weapon for Russell Wilson in the passing attack.
The Baltimore Ravens continue to beef up their defensive front seven here by taking Alabama interior defensive lineman Raekwon Davis. Davis had an up-and-down college career, but he is a big, long and powerful defensive tackle who would provide stability on the interior for Baltimore.
Jalen Hurts is undoubtedly an impressive playmaker at the quarterback position who could have a bright future at the next level. That being said, his arm talent and accuracy is a major concern that must improve if he is going to have major success. Hurts has clearly worked hard on his passing this offseason as he looked much cleaner as a thrower at the combine. If he has actually improved, Hurts could be a massive steal for the Titans in this range.
I don’t care if you want to call him a wide receiver or a tight end, just stick this guy in the slot and let him work. Chase Claypool showed off his incredible speed and athleticism at the combine and should now be in the second-round conversation. The Packers need to find a new target or two for Aaron Rodgers and Claypool has a chance to be special.
Clyde Edwards-Helaire is a fantastic weapon on the ground and perhaps even better as a receiver out of the backfield. The Chiefs may not need many more offensive playmakers, but this was too fun of a pairing to ignore.
Robert Hunt is a big and powerful offensive lineman who moves well for a man of his size. He should benefit greatly from a full-time move to offensive guard at the next level and would provide depth and stability to Seahawks’ interior offensive line.
