Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. CB. Ohio State. player. Jeffrey Okudah. 9. 52

Jeffrey Okudah is the top cornerback prospect in the 2020 NFL Draft class and could easily go as high as No. 3 overall. A fall to No. 9 would be surprising, but it is not impossible.

Okudah is an incredibly stick man-to-man defender who shows an impressive combination of speed, length and athleticism on the outside. He is an extremely fluid cornerback prospect who changes directions well and breaks on the ball quickly. Okudah shows a ton of ability in off-man coverage, is strong in press and is also a playmaker in zone. Simply put, this guy can do it all.

The Jacksonville Jaguars will likely be looking to address their cornerback situation this offseason. They traded superstar cornerback Jalen Ramsey last offseason after he let it be widely known that he wanted out. Fellow starting cornerback A.J. Bouye is a potential cap casualty, and if they decide to move on from him, they will obviously be incredibly thin at the cornerback position.

It will not be easy for the Jags to replace their duo of Ramsey and Bouye that they started the season with, but adding a guy like Okudah is undoubtedly a big step in the right direction. This would be a best-case scenario for this team in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft.
