Obviously, the Miami Dolphins focused on putting together a strong offense around their new franchise quarterback in this 2020 NFL mock draft. Tagovailoa is a premier quarterback prospect, but he is going to need some help.
Surrounding him with one of the best offensive tackles in a loaded class at the position, a legitimate top-tier wide receiver prospect and a tremendous dual-threat running back would undoubtedly help Tagovailoa have immediate success. Also giving him a rock-solid offensive guard prospect and a potentially dynamic weapon at the tight end position is just the cherry on the top.
The defense did not receive much attention, but the Dolphins have so much draft capital that it did not go completely ignored. Uche has massive upside on the edge at the next level and the Day 3 defensive trio that they added could also shine in their own specific roles.
All in all, a strong showing for the Miami Dolphins in this 2020 NFL mock draft if I do say so myself.
