Miami Dolphins 7-round 2020 NFL mock draft: Building a dynamic offense
The Miami Dolphins find a franchise quarterback and build a strong supporting cast around him in this seven-round 2020 NFL mock draft.
The Miami Dolphins will undoubtedly be one of the most interesting players to watch in the 2020 NFL Draft. They are absolutely loaded with draft capital and have a chance to put together a tremendous class that they can use to jumpstart their rebuild.
The Dolphins currently hold the 5th, 18th and 26th picks in the first round. They also have two second-round selection, one pick in the third round and six picks on Day 3 of the draft. Simply put, the Miami Dolphins are in a great position to add impact players at the top of the draft and tremendous depth for their roster throughout the process.
The reason that they have so much draft capital is because of the way they traded away some of the best players on their roster early last season. First, the Dolphins traded away franchise left tackle Laremy Tunsil to the Houston Texans for a haul of picks, including the 26th overall selection in the 2020 NFL Draft.
Prior to Week 3 of the 2019 season, the Dolphins also traded away star defensive back Minkah Fitzpatrick. Miami sent Fitzpatrick to the Pittsburgh Steelers in exchange for their 2020 first-round pick, which is the selection that they will make at No. 18 overall.
No team is putting together an aggressive rebuild quite like the Miami Dolphins. They have a ton of draft capital to work with, but they also have many obvious holes on both sides of the ball. How should the Dolphins address their needs with all of this capital in the draft? Let’s take a look with a complete seven-round 2020 NFL mock draft for this team.
