Center could potentially become a larger need for the Baltimore Ravens depending on how they handle Matt Skura this offseason. Skura is a restricted free agent, meaning that Baltimore could tender him with a draft pick and wait for a team to match it or allow him to walk in free agency. While Skura has been a highly reliable center, he’ll still need time to rehab from a knee injury and Baltimore may see room for improvement.

Michigan’s Cesar Ruiz may be an interesting option for the Baltimore Ravens in the 2020 NFL Draft. Ruiz is one of the toughest interior offensive linemen in the class who moves incredibly well in space and could be a big piece for the Ravens run game.

Ruiz looks likely to be drafted fairly early on in the second round with teams such as the New York Jets, New York Giants, Miami Dolphins and Chicago Bears in need of a center. Baltimore currently holds the 60th pick in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft.

Similarly, with the trade-up for Murray, the Baltimore Ravens could offer up Hurst to a tight end needy team such as the Chicago Bears in order to beat out one of those other teams listed above. Conversely, they could go a more traditional route and trade a package of picks for a higher second-round selection.
