Jalen Reagor, WR, TCU

If Ruggs is not the wide receiver who dominates the combine with his raw speed and athleticism, I fully expect it to be Jalen Reagor, the dynamic speed receiver out of TCU. Reagor shows incredible natural speed and elusiveness on tape and will undoubtedly put together impressive speed and quickness numbers. He may not quite get to that 4.2 range that we expect Ruggs to be in, but I would not be surprised to see Reagor run 4.3-4.33 in the 40.

Reagor’s speed and quickness numbers will be towards the top of the class, but he has a chance to separate himself in the leaping drills. In high school, Reagor was a star on the football field, but he was also an incredible track and field athlete.

Reagor was a Texas state champion in the long jump, posting an impressive leap of 24’5″ in the state final. However, his long jump of 26-feet at the area meet is almost completely unheard of. Reagor will likely put up an impressive number in the vertical, but with his long jump prowess, his potential in the broad jump is massive.

The TCU product should easily have the best broad jump at the combine and may have a chance to break Byron Jones‘ ridiculous combine record of 12’3″. Simply put, Reagor is an incredibly explosive athlete who has massive upside at the next level. He is going to show off his ridiculous athletic upside at the combine and could easily cement himself as a first-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft with a strong performance.
