Henry Ruggs III, WR, Alabama

Henry Ruggs III is the most obvious player to be included on this list. Ruggs was the single fastest player in college football last season and he is going to dominate the combine. Ruggs has ridiculous speed in the open field, but do not sleep on his quickness in short spaces.

Ruggs is not only the favorite to run the fastest 40-yard dash at the combine, I expect him to dominate the quickness drills as well. Ruggs is extremely likely to run a sub-4.3 40-yard dash and will also show out extremely well in the three-cone and shuttle drills.

Ruggs also shows explosive leaping ability on tape, so I fully expect his vertical and broad jump numbers to also be impressive. After this week, we will be able to pair his impressive overall ability on tape with elite athletic testing numbers.

Make no mistake about it, Ruggs is the most explosive offensive playmaker in the 2020 NFL draft class and he will show off his raw athletic ability at the combine. Right now, he is considered an obvious first-round pick who will likely go in the top 20. After we can put numbers to his speed and athleticism, I would not be surprised if he cements himself as a top 10 prospect.
