The biggest need for the Cincinnati Bengals on draft night starts with finding a franchise quarterback.

The Cincinnati Bengals will go into the 2020 NFL draft with the number one overall selection. Most of the speculation is that they will select a quarterback with this pick but they ultimately could end up going another direction such as taking top-rated player Chase Young or trade down in the draft.

The past season for the Bengals from the start was awful dropping their first eleven games en route to a 2-14 season. Their only two wins were against the Miami Dolphins and the Cleveland Browns.

The Bengals have one pick in each of the seven rounds in the 2020 NFL draft and they need to look at rebuilding their roster completely. It starts with finding a franchise quarterback and then looking at pieces on the offensive line.

The Bengals offensive line’s major need is at offensive tackle but they need other playmakers on the interior of the offensive line which they can find on day two and day three of the draft.  One other need on the offensive side of the ball is a wide receiver if they choose to walk away from injury-prone wide receiver A.J. Green who is slated to become a free agent.

They will have to find a way to go from improving on the 26th overall unit in yards per game on offense from last year if they want to be competitive in 2020.

Looking at the defensive side of the ball the Bengals have veterans at many key positions but still were one of the worst units last year ranking 29th overall in yards per game on defense.

Simply put, the Cincinnati Bengals have obvious needs on both sides of the ball. Follow along as we talk about their top needs that simply must be addressed.
