Tennessee Titans 2019 Starters: Logan Ryan, Adoree’ Jackson

With the impending loss of standout corner Logan Ryan, one of the Tennessee Titans needs coming into this offseason will be to find a complementary piece across from Adoree’ Jackson. For the most part, Jackson’s counterpart across the field has been Super Bowl 49 hero Malcolm Butler, but a lack of production and sub-par performances may force a change in role for the New England hero.

Logan Ryan was the Titans slot corner, a position of increasing importance in a pass-happy NFL that has become more and more fond of the slot receiver.

Trevon Diggs draws many comparisons to his older brother, Stefon Diggs, with his length and range that makes him a perfect athletic specimen to play the corner position. His ball skills on high-point passes make him a big-time playmaker and a candidate to be a league-leader in interceptions one day. His trail-technique play makes him a great fit across from Jackson, two corner who excel athletically and can play both trail-man and cap-zone coverage.

With safety Kevin Byard backing them up over the deep-middle and Malcolm Butler likely sliding down into the slot after the departure of Ryan, Diggs could make the Tennessee Titans secondary one of the best the NFL has to offer.
