Pick Analysis. Wisconsin. 26. 809. Scouting Report. EDGE. Zack Baun. player

Miami changes course and addresses a defensive need with their third selection in the first round taking Wisconsin’s edge rusher Zack Baun. This is another riser as Baun was considered a day two pick early on the draft process. He possesses all the traits to be an effective pass rusher at the next level and he has the production that scouts love as he totaled 12.5 sacks in 2019.

Scouting Report. Wide Receiver. Jalen Reagor. 27. player. Pick Analysis. TCU. 36

Russell Wilson is one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL and he’s accomplished a ton. He just never seems to have the proper help. Seattle did draft D.K. Metcalf last season and that has turned out well for them, but they still need to surround Wilson with more weapons.

Jalen Reagor could be just what the Seahawks offense needs. He’s fast and explosive which could put a whole new wrinkle in their offense. Drops have been a concern for Reagor and some may argue that they’re “concentration drops” and are correctable, but drops are drops. Overall this could be a great pick for Seattle.

Penn State. 28. 26. Pick Analysis. EDGE. player. Scouting Report. Yetur Gross-Matos

Baltimore could use multiple pieces on the front seven including finding a replacement for C.J. Mosley, but the hole at pass rusher seems to be bigger. Matt Judon came on strong in 2019 and is a free agent, but he’s a tag and trade option for Baltimore. They could follow the mold of what KC did with Dee Ford. Yetur Gross-Matos could be Judon’s replacement as he had 9.5 sacks for Penn State in 2019 and could develop even more with NFL coaching.

Pick Analysis. 35. Scouting Report. Interior DL. Oklahoma. Neville Gallimore. 29. player

The Tennessee Titans went on a huge run making it all the way to the AFC Championship. I fully expect them to resign Tannehill and Henry who both led them to the playoffs. Their offense doesn’t have any glaring needs, but they can afford to beef up the middle of the defense.

Neville Galimore was a force for the middle of Oklahoma’s defense totaling 29 tackles, 6.5 behind the line and adding 4 sacks. If Gallimore can bring that level of play to Tennessee expect another long playoff run with Tannehill and Henry back in the fold.

Scouting Report. Brandon Aiyuk. 30. player. 49. Pick Analysis. Wide Receiver. Arizona State

The Green Bay Packers need to surround Aaron Rodgers, one of the most talented quarterbacks ever, with more weapons. He already has a very talented receiver in Davante Adams, but he needs another target. Brandon Aiyuk has received some mixed reviews but I believe he is a very talented receiver and could be another piece to help this offense grow. He could line up inside or out on the boundary for Green Bay.

42. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Safety. Alabama. 31. player. Xavier McKinney

After coming up short in their Super Bowl LIV loss to Kansas City, the Niners don’t have many improvements to be made to their defense. However, they can upgrade at the safety position. Xavier McKinney is a very intelligent football player that can force turnovers for a defense. He had three interceptions in 2019 for Alabama. He’ll definitely be a game-changer for the Niners defense that already has players that can after the football.

Damon Arnette. Ohio State. 32. player. 124. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Cornerback

The Kansas City Chiefs are the defending Super Bowl Champions, but they could still improve their defense- particularly their secondary. Damon Arnette stepped up his game big time in 2019 for the Ohio State Buckeyes. He only had one interception in 2019, but that’s mainly due to playing on the ball in press coverage. He possesses the speed and quickness to stick on his man but could be susceptible to penalties.
