The guys open up the episode with a couple pieces of recent news, including that the Miami Dolphins have similar grades on Tua Tagovailoa and Justin Herbert.

The media has almost exclusively mocked Tagovailoa to the Dolphins at five, with some mocks featuring Miami trading up. This could be smoke, as it is lying season, but the Dolphins could be okay with Herbert as a consolation prize at pick five.

In other news, the Arizona Cardinals extended tackle D.J. Humphries to a three year, $45 million deal. This contract could raise the stakes in the tackle market, with Anthony Castonzo, Jack Conklin, and Bryan Bulaga all set to sign new deals.

Then the guys get into Jake’s mock draft, which features a couple of big surprises in the top 10. Nate goes full Twitter troll by putting together his own mock draft which is clearly better. The satire is strong with this one, and it makes for a unique episode. Some picks make sense, but others are go full “person who comments on a mock draft”.

The guys agree that Dave Gettleman might just pass on Jedrick Wills for a different offensive lineman. Both co-hosts agree that Wills is tops in the class, and it would be classic Gettleman.

The Arizona Cardinals make a stunning selection at eight overall, one that isn’t as logical but totally plausible. A corner run begins in the late teens, and two players fall a bit in Jake’s mock, and the Titans plan for the future.
