Running through an interesting trade scenario for the Chicago Bears in this seven-round 2020 NFL mock draft.

In this seven-round 2020 NFL mock draft, we are going to run through the process and try to come away with a class that will help the Chicago Bears both in the short and long-term. With little actual draft capital to work with, this will not be easy, but there is plenty of talent in the 2020 NFL Draft. If the Bears do their due diligence, general manager Ryan Pace and company should be able to find a few players who can help them reach their ultimate goal.

As things currently stand, the Chicago Bears do not hold a first-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. They do, however, have two second-round picks. Unfortunately, their picks in the third and fourth rounds are also gone. The lack of a first-round pick is obviously tough, but not having a pick anywhere between their final second-round pick (50th overall) and their first fifth-round pick (145th overall) will make things extremely difficult as well.

Due to their less than ideal positioning this draft, I expect the Bears to be aggressive with trade calls. In particular, a trade down from one of their second-round selections would make a lot of sense for this team.

With this in mind, we are going to get a bit crazy in this 2020 NFL mock draft and put together an interesting trade scenario for the Chicago Bears. Would it help the Bears to move around the board a bit to put together a more well-rounded class? Let’s find out.
