Pass Rushers

The Los Angeles Rams traded for Dante Fowler back in October of 2018 and in his first full season in LA, Fowler put up career numbers. Notching 11.5 sacks on the year, Fowler finished off his rookie contract perfectly, as he now will be a hot commodity as he hits free agency.

That being said, his up and down play to start his career makes him a risky option when talking about the type of money he is likely to get.

So with the idea that the Rams will put their big-money focus on Littleton, I say they let Dante Fowler walk, making pass rusher a significant team need for the Los Angeles Rams this offseason.

Lucky for them, the 2020 NFL Draft class has some exciting 3-4 edge options. Guys like Zack Baun, Josh Uche, and Jonathan Greenard are likely to be around when the Los Angeles Rams pick at 52, and each of them offer a lot of upside and versatility off the edge.

While obviously day-two talents wouldn’t be expected to step in and match the production of Fowler, adding one of them to a group that already includes Clay Mathews and Sam Ebukam would help ensure there isn’t too much of a drop off in the pass-rushing department going forward.
