2020 NFL Draft: Henry Ruggs goes top 10 in first-round NFL mock draft
One more pick here for the Miami Dolphins in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft, and it’s shifting to the defensive side of the ball after grabbing a quarterback and an offensive tackle earlier. The Dolphins will have a bundle to go after top free agents and could land one of Jadeveon Clowney or Yannick Ngakoue to put next to Christian Wilkins on the defensive line.
The thing is, even if the Dolphins get one of those two, it’s not enough up front. Vince Biegel led this team in sacks, and it’s likely that head coach Brian Flores will address the edge early on in the draft.
Terrell Lewis is a polarizing player right now in the 2020 NFL Draft, only because of his medicals. He’s had a couple of major injuries at Alabama before playing the entire 2019 season. The combine will be important for him in that regard, and if no flags come up, he could find himself here in the first round of the draft.
Lewis has a good first step and the quickness to win inside or around the edge. He also has great length for the edge along with a wicked long arm move. Lewis could be a gem in this Flores defense.
