2020 NFL Draft: Henry Ruggs goes top 10 in first-round NFL mock draft
It wasn’t a great 2019 season for the Cleveland Browns. The addition of Odell Beckham Jr. didn’t give the offense the spark it expected, and Baker Mayfield regressed in a big way. Cleveland also looked undisciplined as a whole with Freddie Kitchens at the helm. It went so poorly that Kitchens was ultimately canned at the end of the season, replaced by Vikings offensive coordinator Kevin Stefanski. General manager John Dorsey also got the boot and was replaced by Andrew Berry.
This will be an interesting offseason for the Browns. Mayfield enters a crucial third season, and there have been talks about a Beckham trade. Ultimately, though, this team needs to get better on the offensive line to succeed in 2020.
The good news is that the 2020 NFL Draft class looks good at offensive tackle. Here at 10, the Browns take Mekhi Becton. Becton has shot up boards recently after Daniel Jeremiah had him go fourth overall in a mock draft, but it’s easy to see why. Becton is a monster of a tackle at 6-foot-7 and nearly 370 pounds. His power at the point of attack is unmatched in the class, and he has very good mobility for his size. It would be up to him to keep Mayfield clean.
