CB. Jaylon Johnson. Pick Analysis. Utah. 32. player. 124. Scouting Report

The Kansas City Chiefs could be losing Bashaud Breeland and Kendall Fuller in free agency, and while they will certainly not go down without a fight in free agency (rival Broncos CB Chris Harris Jr. could be a target) they could look to double up at the position in the 2020 NFL Draft.

That player, in this case, is Jaylon Johnson of Utah.

Johnson has tremendous ball skills and size for the position, and not only could this be a player who starts year one on the outside at corner in the NFL, he could also play inside at the nickel.

Johnson’s size and athleticism behind the Chiefs’ defensive front could give this team a very valuable ballhawk in the secondary who could help them get the ball back in Patrick Mahomes’ hands as quickly as possible.

Although Kendall Fuller and Bashaud Breeland will be coveted free agents, Johnson and another free agent like Chris Harris Jr. could actually end up upgrading the Chiefs’ defensive backfield on the whole.
