TRADE

52. Scouting Report. 28. player. Pick Analysis. S. LSU. Grant Delpit

The writing seems to be on the wall for a Yannick Ngakoue trade. While the Ravens are usually pretty frugal with their draft picks, this is a team that has just about every other major area of need in place.

You’re not getting a Yannick Ngakoue with the 29th overall pick in the NFL Draft.

Ngakoue is a big-time speed rusher who is still young, and swapping this selection to get him is a small investment for the Ravens who can afford this move with a quarterback on a rookie deal.

For the Jaguars, this is a tough blow to their defensive front, but adding Delpit along with CJ Henderson earlier in this mock draft would be huge.

Although Delpit is not known for his open-field tackling abilities, he can play up in the box when asked to do so and attack as a blitzer, but his skillset is mainly all about attacking the football and picking off passes. He’s got range and ball skills.
