2020 NFL Draft: Huge trades shake up two-round mock draft
Despite trading out of their pick in the teens and moving up to get Tua Tagovailoa, the Dolphins still come into a good situation here in the later portion of the first round with Josh Jones.
Jones is not as refined as some of the other tackle prospects in this class, but he’s athletic with a strong hand punch and he has big upside.
After trading Laremy Tunsil a year ago, the Dolphins set themselves up for this selection here and in a draft class that appears to be the deepest in recent memory at the tackle position off the top, getting a physical tackle prospect like this in the later portion of the first round.
He’s got the required athleticism and functional strength to play the position at a pretty high level right away in the NFL in 2020.
The Dolphins get their new blindside protector for Tua Tagovailoa.
