Pick Analysis. 60. CB. Ohio State. Damon Arnette. 25. player. Scouting Report

It feels like the Vikings are constantly using first-round picks on the cornerback position, but they haven’t all worked out at this point.

Xavier Rhodes is a possible cap casualty this offseason. Trae Waynes is an impending free agent. Former second-round pick Mackensie Alexander is also a pending free agent.

The Vikings could be looking at a total overhaul of the cornerback position this offseason, and Damon Arnette is unfairly known right now mostly just as Jeffrey Okudah’s teammate at Ohio State.

Although there were questions as to why Arnette went back to school after his junior season, rare for an Ohio State defensive back these days, he came up big as a senior and showed off his skills both in man and zone coverages. He is aggressive and physical and fits what Mike Zimmer likes.
