LSU. Justin Jefferson. 24. player. 15. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. WR

This was one of my favorite fits in the entire mock draft.

The Saints have Michael Thomas dominating their target share which is fine because he’s incredible, but Justin Jefferson is a player who could make life easier and better for Thomas.

One of the best slot players in college football this past season, Jefferson’s stock skyrocketed with the development of Joe Burrow as we got to see his full skill set on display.

Jefferson has good enough athleticism, but his toughness and vision after the catch, and he doesn’t really drop many passes. Jefferson is a refined route runner compared to many other college receivers, and he did everything LSU asked of him this past season.

He would be a tremendous fit with the Saints and would give them a big-time threat out of the slot with Michael Thomas as the alpha.
