TRADE

Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. OT. Tristan Wirfs. 23. 46. Iowa. player

The Colts become the only team in this mock draft to jump from their spot near the top of the second round to get back into the first round.

The Patriots, as we all know, love to accumulate picks and right now they are looking a little bare with only two picks in the first two rounds and nothing in the second.

The Colts wind up getting a new blindside protector of the future for Jordan Love, which becomes doubly important if Anthony Castonzo decides his playing days are over.

Even if he doesn’t, the retirement rumors with him have come up enough that Wirfs is a worthwhile investment.

The former Iowa right tackle has a chance to excel in the NFL at either tackle or guard position with his refined technique, movement skills, and strong hands.
