Scouting Report. DL. Javon Kinlaw. player. 48. Pick Analysis. South Carolina. 14

The Buccaneers let go of Gerald McCoy last offseason and brought in Ndamukong Suh for a year, but it doesn’t seem like that relationship is going to last beyond the 2019 season.

With that, there might not be a better plug-and-play option for them at this spot than South Carolina defensive lineman Javon Kinlaw, who was basically pulled from the Senior Bowl for cementing his status as a top 15 pick.

It may have been even more than that.

Kinlaw has been on the NFL radar for a while now, and his length on the inside is really difficult for offensive linemen to deal with. He’s got phenomenal burst off the snap and that explosiveness is going to make him a big-time playmaker at the next level for a long time.

This guy looks like he was made in a defensive lineman lab.
