player. 46. Pick Analysis. Jordan Love. Scouting Report. QB. Utah State. 13

With no guaranteed money this year, the Colts could very well be moving on from Jacoby Brissett this offseason and Jordan Love remains a very logical replacement option.

The Colts are one of a couple of teams rumored to have interest in free agent quarterback Philip Rivers, whose familiarity with offensive coordinator Nick Sirianni could end up giving the Colts the edge in those sweepstakes.

Even with Rivers, the Colts would have to consider their options for the future beyond 2020, and Jordan Love is the perfect quarterback to take to sit behind Rivers.

Not because he’s similar to Rivers, but because Love is one of the most talented prospects in this draft and also needs a bit of time to develop his skills.

Love’s arm talent is outstanding and he’s an athletic playmaker at the quarterback position, but his decision making and consistency needs work. Frank Reich would be the perfect coach to get him ready to play in the big leagues.
