52. WR. player. 9. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Alabama. Henry Ruggs III

Although this may seem like somewhat of a surprise right now, come time for the 2020 NFL Draft, it won’t be.

In fact, I think Henry Ruggs as WR1 is going to be a much more popular take after the 2020 Scouting Combine.

Ruggs is probably going to be the fastest player in this draft class, and that carries more weight with him because unlike many other speedsters before him, Ruggs is a tough, physical player who is just flat out really good at playing the wide receiver position.

A lot of guys with speed end up playing receiver just because they’re fast. Ruggs is a good route runner with strong hands and a physical style of play that all adds up to a potential superstar at the NFL level.

All it takes is one team to have Ruggs as their WR1 to make him the first receiver off the board in the 2020 draft. That team could very well be the Jaguars.
